Most of these stories are fiction. However, they are grounded in real emotions. Everything captured on screen was felt.
Worse for Wear (2025)
A short made for Jejuan Narcisse’s “Friday the 13th” fashion show. It’s a story about three women, denial, and a monster.
Jejuan had asked for something stylish, surreal, and unsettling but honest. Me and Adrean (Director, Co-Writer) spent late nights writing, sketching, pinning references to walls, all sorts of work behind the shadows. We wanted each girl in the film to feel different kinds of denial — the type you don’t see until it’s two late.
We shot this film at Fort Mason’s General’s residence. We spent two days filming, styling, revising, arguing, fixing, undoing, and trying again. We brought in a team we trust to create something bigger than the budget, timeline, and the ask.
It wasn’t perfect, but it was art. Those happy accidents gave us many bonding moments.
I was thrilled to be on this project as I’ve always wanted to work on horror. It was fun being 1st AC while playing the monster. Building the atmosphere of this world taught me a lot while allowing me to have joy in doing what I love.

Mona (2025)
Inspired by Agne’s Varda’s “Vagabond”, Dru was determined to create something raw and fierce. This fashion film was unique; the story was told within the details of the garments. Adrean and I had met with Dru over the course of several months to further develop this film.
Working with Dru and my team felt very rewarding. I know I’m great at my job, but the amount of trust everyone had given me to pull off these shots meant everything to me.

DIE 4 THE KLOUT (2023)
My very first film.
It was the pandemic and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I had also made an album of the same name and I wanted to tell a story about leaving a toxicity behind and separating from the herd.
In 2021, I had a friend who had overdosed and passed away. The day I found out, I carried that to the stage while I was set to perform at the Rose Bowl Stadium. On the way back home I was reflecting on the community I grew up with and it felt uncomfortable with the realization that I was under appreciated and never truly accepted by many people and they were hiding it less and less.
During the inception of the album, I had joined SYGNWAV where I met Adrean and many of the amazing creatives I work with today. I spent months writing, consulting everyone, bringing people together, creating cinematic alchemy for the first time. The vision became clear to me: a surreal and hyper fictionalized narrative based on my journey.
While it wasn’t perfect, this project was and always will be a monument for me. I am forever grateful for the people that came together to make this happen.
